Coaching your Personal Leadership
What does coaching mean to you? There are so many definitions out there, but the inspirational quote above indicates how we feel about it at Connect2Experience. Coaching helps individuals to find their own solutions and enable them to grow, become unstuck, decide to do things differently, and in turn feel more fulfilled and on track. It is not about telling people what they should or shouldn’t do, nor is it counselling or therapy. Our coaches help you find new perspectives about what may be valuable going forward. You are unique and your coaching experience is unique to you, whether you lead others or just yourself!
What would working with a C2E coach look like?
- You complete a short personal profile
- In a 45 minutes call or face to face meeting you and your coach introduce yourselves and your coach explains our way of working i.e the coaching “contract” – you start to get to know one another
- You collect any feedback you may have that could be relevant (eg if you have reports for any psychometric instruments or 360 feedback, or company engagement survey results)
- We start a sequence of one-to-one coaching sessions, either at your workplace or at a different location that suits you, or at one of our locations. It is also possible to have coaching by phone or via online options, using Zoom or Teams.
How long does a coaching process take?
Your personal coaching experience will typically be 4 – 8 sessions usually every 4 weeks. The initial contract will be for 4 sessions and then a review takes place, with the option to then continue for up to 4 more sessions. However all coaching processes are flexible and there are no fixed rules on how many or the frequency of sessions.
Your coach will provide a summary at the end of the coaching period, but important to stress is that this is for you. In respect of privacy rules, we do not share your data with your boss or anyone in HR unless you choose to share it and ask us to do so.
